London Modest Fashion Week was held at the Saatchi Gallery in London on the 18th and 19th February 2017. This was the first event for London Modest Fashion Week and it was sponsored by Haute Elan. You guys might be wondering who in heaven’s name is Haute Elan and what is London Modest Fashion Week, right? Fear not, we will tell you about Haute Elan.
For your information, it is not a who. It is actually a what. Haute Elan is an online shopping website and it was founded in 2013. Basically, it is similar to what we have here in Malaysia, FashionValet. It has about 200 designers on its website and it ships across the world. The first event of London Modest Fashion Week was sponsored by Haute Elan.
Okay, now that you now Haute Elan, we will tell you about London Modest Fashion Week.
London Modest Fashion Week is a special and grand event where fashion designers could join as participants for numerous fashion shows. Each designer will get to showcase their fashion line in their own fashion show. It is not a competition between designers, it is merely a fun event. The event will be filled with glamorous and renown designers from all over the world. Some of the brands being showcased are from Islamic countries. Not only do they create womenswear but also menswear.
Local and international reporters from fashion magazines and newspapers will be attending and reporting on this particular event. The best part is even ordinary people can join in the fun as well. But of course, there is a price to pay for the admission ticket. You can bring your whole squad of friends who adore fashion just as much as you do to this event. In fact, you can bring your whole family along if you want to, as long as you have the money.
Another event was sponsored by Modanisa. Modanisa is also an online shopping site but it focuses more on women. It celebrates women who dresses modestly and covers their heads. It is the first website that provides a variety of Muslimah wear from over three hundred brands. It has anything and everything from accessories to casual wear to evening dresses to scarves and many more.
Modanisa’s London Modest Fashion Week was a two-day event that took place at Olympian London on the 15th and 16th of April 2017. The event also had a London Muslim Lifestyle Show where designers participated to display their lines in a Muslimah fashion show.
What is interesting about Modanisa’s London Modest Fashion Week is that it celebrates and promotes Muslimah and Islamic wear as well. There were many more attractions for people to enjoy such as cooking theatre, halal food court, kids zone and international boutique designers.
Plus, you can come and enjoy the fashion shows and fashion gallery there. You will get to witness models walking back and forth the runway and experience the fashion life right before your eyes. You get to see Islamic arts, paintings, sculptures and many more at the art gallery. Or if you just want to a little shopping, you can get the tickets and shop all you want there.
You can even shop while watching the fashion show because every item being showcased is on sale.
